The Curse of Madame Laureaux
I was tasked with creating a fully functioning game with gray-box assets in Unity. I was required to go through the entire process of mapping out the level, pitching my idea, and even make physical board game versions to playtest in class before scripting and building the game in Unity.
In the game, Our Player must travel through the grounds, and into the mansion of Madame Laureaux to destroy the Madames crystal ball that is holding the land under a curse and release the spirits who have been trapped there. See if you can defeat Madame Laureaux and uncover all her secrets, before you become one of the many spirits trapped here for eternity.
As the Player makes their way to the mansion they encounter enemies, puzzles, and environmental obstacles that increase in difficulty the closer they get to the mansion.
Here are some images showing the whole process of designing, pitching, and building the game.
